Oysters

On Christmas eve, we always have oysters. The guys all gather outside with ty’punch made from rum from Martinique and music. And they shuck oysters.Usually for a good hour and half they are in the cold . This year was not too bad, at least this year it didn’t snow!

The oyster were this year so good. We always get them from Tom Robinson Seafood in Carrboro. We have never been disappointed. They always are so fresh.

Au reveillon, nous mangeons toujours des huitres. Les hommes se mettent dehors avec le ty’punch fais avec le rhum de Martinique et de la music. Pendant une bonne heure, ils ouvrent les huitres dans le froid.

Les huitres etaient delicieuces cette annee. Nous les prennons toujours a Carrboro dans une poissonerie. Nous avons jamais ete decu, elles sont toujours tres fraiches.
