India Street In Kuching

Kuching, has captured my heart. There was so much there that captured my eyes, my lens. The people were incredible.

Kuching is the capital of the State of Sarawak. It is definetly the biggest city on the island of Borneo

The India Street was one of my favorites street. It’s name comes from the fact that it was a street occupy by Indian Shops.

In 1992, the city decided that the street will be closed to the regular car traffic and will be converted into a pedestrian mall. It is a street that has colorful textiles, clothing and people working in the streets.

  1. I love these colorful and enchanting photos. They do not glorify the place; just bring the viewer into an ambiance otherwise untouched by Western culture. Thank you for sharing!
