Wow! Wow! Wow!

I was totally impressed when I ate there. We arrived at the restaurant and were welcomed there.

We choose to sit outside. The food was fabulous. One of my friends had spotted the place during his work week and wanted to take me there as he knows I am a foodie. Hard to impress me, and I mean Hickory? Well I was impressed by the appetizer plate of cured meat and cheese. Everything made there! It was incredible.

I opted for the fish du jour and what an incredible decision it was ….

I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in town. A must!!

Fresh from the Sea

Les araignees de mer peche at my demand….

My dad ask “Katoun what do you want for diner tonight?” I respond Araignees! ( Spider crabs). My dad then take the boat and goes get them in the ocean for me…day after day!

Then he fished maqueraux that he prepares in such a wonderful way. Then he fishes Daurade that we eat as cevice for aperitif. Then he fish a huge 5 kilos Bar that he prepared with his Normand sauce with cider, and tomatoes.

How will I survive coming back home? This is what I miss the most beside my family…living across the water, and eating fresh seafood day after day!

Farewell Milonga Pichuqueando for Cecilia Pagani

Last night was a very special milonga to honor our good friend and beautiful milonguera, Cecilia Pagani,before she relocates to Atlanta, GA
We had the milonga at Piazza Italia and we had live music.

Maestro Julian Hasse was at the bandoneon and David Garcia was at the guitar ¬†and the live music were compliments of Jason Laughlin, Cecilia’s dance partner.
