Itinerary in London

I will have a full 24 hours in London, so I will leave the hotel early morning and walk the streets of London. The last time I was there I was 14 years old.

I will leave the very modest hotel to head to Westminster Abbey, then to Big Ben, then Piccadilly Circus, Royal Opera House, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace.

It will take the all day for sure to do that, google map says 2 hours, but taking photos, enjoying the scenery, and the history will take us all day.

I am so looking forward to do it all! If we can be lucky assisting to a church service in Saint Paul would be a delight, and of course trying to plan to see the “releve de la guarde”

I will try to keep blogging while away, posting iPhone photos, as I know my middle daughter read my blog these days.

It will be a short 24 hours lay over, stay tuned for our journey!

I pride myself in being able to capture the moment, capture the smile, the cry, the “not posed” portrait.

Here are examples of photography I took of Maya Kadol at the beach.

Prom 2014

I am so fortunate to be able to be such a big part of that day again this year.

I was so grateful to be able to have Millicent getting ready at our house. She is such a delight. I am so happy for her and Jason. This was their second prom together.

After doing her hair, she got dress and then we went to the Botanical Gardens to take photos. The weather was perfect.

Gorgeous couple, all around inside and out!

Shoot in Downtown Durham

On a cold night of February, I went to shoot Downtown Durham.

I have been so busy  lately, it was nice to have time to go and shoot. It was a last minute decision on Tuesday night, I called my photographer friend Jim , we have talked about going to shoot together for couple of years now and never had time. We took an hour and half with our cameras walking in downtown.

Here are the photos:

My son, my pride, my first born…

He was born on July 1st in 1997. He was by far the cutest baby I ever saw. 10 lbs 1 oz and I was barely couple of hours in labor, and  he was 3 days early.

He has over the years, grown to a man who I am so proud of.

Tonight, he gave me the best gift I could of been getting for mother’s day. I felt like I was in an American dream.

He is a sophomore in high school, and attended prom tonight with his girlfriend, Millie, a junior.

From the tradition to get the corsage, to taking the photos at the Duke Gardens…

His date was like a  beautiful American princess, and as distinguished and elegant than him.

They  showed me the tradition of this country for prom.

I loved it and of course enjoyed taking photos of them!

Maya First Birthday

It was a beautiful party to celebrate Maya first Birthday… Cupcakes from La Maison Sucree were succulent and Champagne was our drink! That is my kind of party!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Niece!!

Saint-Pierre and it’s surrounding…Town of Fond Saint Denis, Martinique.

I visited Saint-Pierre and it’s surrounding little villages with my guide Yannis. We ended up having lunch in a cute little place on top of the mountain in Fond Saint Denis with a spectacular view. No menus, just one dish that they bring you. Delicious. Totally not a touristic place!

We also stopped to see a tree that is so old, and when you look at this tree you want to ask questions about life..This tree reflected wisdom to me. I could of stay there for hours! It was almost enchanted.

Of course, we had to stop to the Rhumerie Depaz for me to bring back my rhum:-)
