Whale Watch Cabo: Mexico

Whale Watch Cabo

Photo and Quote: France

I took this photo in the village of Sarlat-La-Canedat in the region of Dordogne in France.

Incredible region that I was visiting to expand my knowledge for the Foie Gras, the walnut oil, and the Prehistorical caves.

Paris

Enjoying editing photos from my trip last month. Wow! How much fun it was reconnecting with my family, my friends, and seeing some of the country with my parents.

Paris…so excited I got to spend 2 days there. My parents had bought tickets for me to go see the spectacle at the Moulin Rouge. I was able to meet with my best friends Olivier and Stephanie for a nice meal , after we walked around and went to the Sacre Coeur.

My parents had also bought tickets to the boat ride on the Seine River. I am a lucky girl, and appreciated all of it! So grateful to have them in my life.

Le Sacre Coeur

This place has been my favorite place since a little girl! A month ago I was lucky enough to go back. The view is always as majestic as I remember!

Listening to “Billie Holiday” this morning and happy working, editing. June_2015_Montmartre_Sacre_coeur_0214 copy

Itinerary in London

I will have a full 24 hours in London, so I will leave the hotel early morning and walk the streets of London. The last time I was there I was 14 years old.

I will leave the very modest hotel to head to Westminster Abbey, then to Big Ben, then Piccadilly Circus, Royal Opera House, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace.

It will take the all day for sure to do that, google map says 2 hours, but taking photos, enjoying the scenery, and the history will take us all day.

I am so looking forward to do it all! If we can be lucky assisting to a church service in Saint Paul would be a delight, and of course trying to plan to see the “releve de la guarde”

I will try to keep blogging while away, posting iPhone photos, as I know my middle daughter read my blog these days.

It will be a short 24 hours lay over, stay tuned for our journey!

Bodega bay sunrise, California

Bodega Bay is a very shallow, little port in the Sonoma County Valley. We drove there from San Fransisco and we stayed in a charming little place call the “Inn in the Tides”. It is approximately  40 mi from San Fransisco.

The bay is a marine habitat used for navigation, recreation, and commercial and sport fishing including shellfish harvesting.

Of course seafood was excellent there and I discovered that some of the movie scenes from the birds were filmed there.

Charming little village away from everybody.

We woke up so early that morning to catch the sunrise on the water. How peaceful and beautiful!

New Hampshire and Cape Cod Vacation

I just spent the past week between New Hampshire, and Cape Cod in Massachusetts. So many photos to edit! I barely have started. It was an amazing vacation full of historical events. It was my first time in Cape Cod, what a beautiful place it was! It was also my first time in the state of New Hampshire. We went to the top of Mount Washington. There are so many of  ski resorts, lakes….It was a magical week! Picnic either on top of mountains in NH, or in the salt march of Cape Cod. Sunsets on the Cape were amazing! It was wonderful to travel and have no time for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was all improvised on the day, the site, and what we were doing. I can’t believe how much we have seen and done in a week. Here are just the iPhone low quality photos we took at the Attitash Alpine Slide. That was so much fun going down the slopes! Can’t wait to go back this winter to ski  hopefully with the kids and to see family in Vermont that I did not have the chance to see this time around.

Monastiraki, Μοναστηράκι, Athenes, Greece

Monastiraki is a  very pretty neighborhood located in the old district of Athens. From the square we can see the Acropolis.

First time I saw it was at night….I felt back in time I have to say. The people, the music, the fashion, and the view , incredible view of this ancient place called the Acropolis.

Flea market, shopping districts where you can found literally anything. It is a major touristy area, but very entertaining.

The name came from the monastery that is on the square.
